Help more people in Scotland play Touch

Touch is a mixed, non-contact sport open to every age and ability. Partner with us to help more girls, juniors and communities across Scotland get playing.

The difference your support makes

Every partnership goes into the game: more sessions, more players, more coaches and referees.

Programmes you can support

Choose a cause that matters to your organisation. We’ll show you exactly what your support delivers.

Girls in Touch

The need: More girls than ever are coming to junior sessions, but there are no dedicated girls’ teams yet.

Your support funds: coaching, venue hire and kit to form and run girls’ squads.

We’ll measure: girls playing regularly, teams formed.

Touch in Schools & Communities

The need: Touch is played in five regions; many communities, schools and universities have never tried it.

Your support funds: Taste of Touch sessions and support to start new clubs.

We’ll measure: sessions run, new players, new clubs.

For example

£1,800 could fund a season of sessions at a new club, for up to 64 children in two age groups.

Pathway to Scotland

The need: [STA to confirm the need, for example families meeting travel and kit costs for Academy and international events.]

Your support funds: travel and kit support so cost is never the reason a young player can’t take their place.

We’ll measure: players supported, tournaments attended.

Coaches & Referees

The need: The sport can only grow as fast as the people who coach and referee it.

Your support funds: the new online learning platform and coach and referee courses.

We’ll measure: people trained and qualified.

For example

£1,200 could fund a young lead coach for a season, running sessions for up to 32 children each evening.

What support looks like

Here’s what that support looks like on the ground.

Pentland Touch: 28 juniors in one autumn

Over seven autumn sessions, Pentland Touch welcomed 28 children, girls made up 78% of attendances, and the club is now looking at starting a girls’ team. This is the kind of growth partners help us make happen across Scotland.
