Touch gives young people the chance to play, develop their skills and enjoy the sport in a fun, inclusive and supportive environment. Youth Touch opportunities are available across the North East for young players looking to try the game or develop further.
Youth Touch provides opportunities for young people across the North East to try the sport, develop their skills and enjoy playing in a supportive environment. Whether someone is completely new to Touch or already has experience, the focus is on helping young players develop at a pace that is right for them.
New to Touch? Start with an introduction to the game in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Build skills, understanding and confidence through youth training and development opportunities.
As players develop, there may be opportunities to progress into further youth and appropriate mixed-age Touch activity.
We want young people to have a positive and appropriate experience of Touch as they develop. Our youth participation pathway helps players and parents understand how young people can progress from introductory activity through youth development and, where appropriate, into mixed-age Touch.
Whether you’re new to Touch, looking to develop your skills or interested in future youth opportunities, we’d love to help you get involved. Get in touch to find out what’s happening across the North East.
