Leading teams from across European join us in Stirling to contest this years Senior European Touch Cup. It’s your chance to see a world class sporting event, along with a more than a little bit of family fun. We’ve written this page to tell you a little more about the event, what you can expect and some of our fun activities. Remember to check back as we provide updates as we get closer to the event and reveal more of our plans.
Whether you’re new to touch, or a seasoned spectator, we promise you a fun day out.
Our Venue - The University of Stirling
The European Senior Touch Cup is based entirely on the university campus and offers a wide range of facilities for all of our competitors and visitors.
There’s plenty of visiting parking on site in the main car park. Please note that this is chargeable on Friday, but free to use on Saturday and Sunday.
Overflow car parking is also available in the East car park.
No parking is available at the playing fields, which are located a short walk from the main car parking towards to back of campus. Don’t worry it will be well sign posted, and our friendly volunteers will be on site to help you if you need any directions.

There are also excellent public transport to and from the campus leaving every 10 minutes.
Our pitches, Craft Market, Refreshments & Entertainment
The playing site is divided into 4 playing pitches, so you will never be far from the action. If you want to know who is playing then the schedules are available on the FIT Website.
Around the site, you can find everything you need for a fun day out. There are a number of food and drink options to choose from. We’ve got hot & cold drinks along with a fully licensed bar. A choice of Pizza, Burgers, Ice cream and more will be on site.
You will also find out Merchandise and Craft Market. We are proud to be working with local suppliers to give a taste of Stirling and Scotland to our players and visitors.
It’s not just about the Touch, we’ve also planned a number of other activities and entertainment. Many of these are free to try, but a small fee may be payable for some of the activities. These will all be clearly displayed.
Please help us keep the site clean & tidy, recycling where you can. We appreciate it.

Just so you know, we will be recording some of the Touch games, and there will be both photographers and videographers on site capturing the excitement. Should you not want to be in any of the photos or videos, then please let the team know and we will do our best to assist.
