The Scottish Touch Association hosted the inaugural European Senior Touch Cup at the University of Stirling in August 2025. Ten nations competed across six divisions: Men’s 30, Women’s 27, Mixed 30, Men’s 35/40, Women’s 40, and Men’s Masters.
Scotland previously hosted the Touch World Cup in 2011, an early Senior Cup in 2017, and the Junior Touch Championships in 2018. The STA team, led by Clare Gregor-Hill and Euan Kerr, worked closely with the University of Stirling to showcase the best of Scottish sport. The playing fields, set in the shadow of the Wallace Monument and the Ochil Hills, provided a striking backdrop for the competition.
Scotland had a strong tournament on home soil. The Men’s 30 side reached the Gold Medal match, losing narrowly to England 7-3 to claim silver. The Scotland M50 team went one better, winning the Men’s 50 Gold Medal with a 7-6 victory over England in the final.
